The Kampitsis Cytology Coding System is a comprehensive alphanumeric classification method designed to standardize cytological diagnoses across all organs.It is based on the Papanicolaou classification principles and expands them into a flexible, scalable coding structure that includes benign, atypical, suspicious, malignant, unclassified, and unsatisfactory categories.This system has been applied in clinical cytology practice for years and untill now in a gyn hospital in Athens Elena Venizelou and aims to improve diagnostic clarity, communication, and data organization in cytopathology laboratories.
